Contributing to individual, household and community socio economic well being by strengthening their capabilities

Child and youth participation is important in decision-making at all levels because it strengthens their commitment to leadership and governance. Kerwa CFP collaborates with the Children’s Department and the Ministry of Youth Affairs to promote children/Youth participation in their society. This will enable their full involvement in the development processes; foster and support children’s full participation in decisions that affect them through children’s clubs (recreational or educational), youth talent promotion, formation of location advisory councils, district children council; facilitate quarterly children council meetings and quarterly youth/children monitoring visits.
